Today we scoured the Pennsylvania Class of 2025 rankings to reveal six players who this winter grabbed our attention with breakout high school seasons and thus appeared in our 2025 rankings for the first time.
Below is a review of six southeastern Pennsylvania 2025 prospects who made their rankings debut in our latest update.
#13… Keni’ Williams Keni’ Williams 6'2" | PG SCH Academy | 2025 State PA – 6’2″ / SCH Academy / K-Low Elite / Point Guard: This poised lefty is an absolute wizard off the dribble, creating opportunities for himself and teammates. His ability to get into the paint and drop dimes to waiting bigs or kick to open perimeter shooters is next level. Williams (4.6 apg.) is one of the best distributing floor generals in the 2025 graduate year. When he is looking to score, Williams (9 ppg.) gets points in transition, blows past defenders in the half-court and knocks down three balls. One of his noteworthy performances from this season was a 15 points and 8 rebounds effort against Penn Charter.
#26… Gabe Hornberger Gabe Hornberger 6'5" | SG Executive Education Academy Charter | 2025 State PA – 6’4″ / Executive Education ACS / NJ Panthers / Wing: Hornberger (12.7 ppg.) is one of the fastest rising 2025s in southeastern Pennsylvania. Operating on the wing, Hornberger can slash to the rack for a catch and lay-in or splash threes. His high basketball IQ, court vision and passing skills also enable Hornberger to play a unique point-forward role for the Raptors. In the 2nd Round of the 3A state tournament, Hornberger displayed his versatility by assembling an outlandish triple-double — 18 points (3 threes), 10 rebounds and 10 dimes.
#111… Adrian Brito Adrian Brito 6'6" | PF Pocono Mountain West | 2025 State PA – 6’5” / Pocono Mountain West / NEPA Elite / Small Forward: Brito isa traditional small forward prospect who was a key part of PMW’s state tournament team this season. He plays through contacton the interior, possesses a smooth face up game and rebounds at both ends. Plus, Brito will occasionally pop a three ball. He averaged 12.4 points per contest this season and registered a couple impressive post season performances — 17 points in the District 11-5A semifinal game and then 15 points in the 2nd Round of 5A state tourney.
#148… KJ Carson KJ Carson 6'0" | CG Haverford School | 2025 State PA – 6’0” / Haverford School / Penn Warriors / Combo Guard: Carson is a speedy guard with filthy handles and a pass first mentality. He is a primary ball handler who plays with pace, yet rarely commits a turnover. His ability to recognize the “hot hand” and keep feeding that teammate in the right spots is remarkable. When he needs to score, Carson (10 ppg.) does so via his automatic 3-point shooting (36%). Carson posted numerous games this season with 3+ made triples. His high scoring effort of the season was 24 points in a win over Perkiomen School. Carson also posted 17 points on the strength of 5 made threes against SCH Academy.
#170… Jaen Chatman Jaen Chatman 6'2" | CG East Stroudsburg South | 2025 State PA – 6’2” / East Stroudsburg South / Unity Legends / Combo Guard: Back in December Chatman tipped off the 2022-23 season by winning the MVP award at two different “holiday” tournaments ESS entered. Chatman continued that elite level of play for the remainder of the winter by averaging 19 ppg. He pushed ESS to the District 11-5A title as well as an appearance in the 5A state tourney. Chatman can score at all 3-levels, but his weapon of choice is his extremely accurate long-distance shooting (56 made threes). In 2022-23 Chatman scored a season high 28 points vs. Stroudsburg and posted 14 games of 20 or more points.
#268… Deacon Baratta Deacon Baratta 6'6" | SF Phoenixville | 2025 State PA – 6’4” / Phoenixville / East Coast Power-Horvath / Combo Guard: Baratta (11 ppg. and 5 rpg.) is a multi-skilled prospect with length and a high basketball IQ. On offense his textbook shooting stroke possesses logo range (43 made 3-balls) and is automatic in the mid-range too. When double teamed, Baratta’s court vision and unselfish mindset enable him to move the ball quickly to open teammates. At the other end of the court, Baratta rebounds well and is an underrated shot blocker.
