The Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Showcase took place this past Sunday and it was a perfect chance for coaches and scouts to get a look at some players before the AAU season officially takes off. This was also a chance for the seniors that came to have another chance to showcase themselves again before they graduate. There was a lot of action that took place and there were a few players that stood out out to me throughout the showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297057' first='Jaymen' last='Townsend'] - Townsend was arguably the best the prospect in the gym on Sunday. He is so physical in his style of play and can score at all three levels really well. Defensively, he has the ability to guard nearly every spot on the floor and do it well. His motor is endless and if he is going downhill, he is going to go at you hard. Ton of potential in this 2025 forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1578443' first='Mikial' last='Miller'] –Miller was one of the few veteran guys here at the prospect camp. Did a good job of getting the offense started, attacking the basket, being quick off the dribble, and making good passes. Thought his jump shot was real solid. Small schools should really take a look at Miller because he is a high IQ player that plays hard on the floor and one that can run an offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297053' first='James' last='Clark'] – Clark was one of the players that impressed me the most during this camp. Big body on his and plays like a bruising post players. Thought his motor was real high and he had no problem being physical and trying to score through contact. Overall a very aggressive player that rebounds and can score around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1425064' first='Quinn' last='Murphy'] –Murphy is a tall post that is extremely active on both ends of the floor. Rebounds well and run the floor hard. Can stretch the floor a little bit as well. Really liked his motor and the upside he showed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1528633' first='Blaine' last='Ward'] – strong take, 3oc, aggressive: Ward was one of the best pure scorers at the entire camp. Shot the ball well from the outside and attacked the rim so aggressively. Plays with an extremely high IQ and is not afraid to go at anyone or shoot the ball when he has the space to do so. He is a guy that small schools needs to keep an eye on moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1539998' first='Rashod' last='Bethley'] –Bethley was really impressive in the game I watched of his. Very, very shifty and had some elite ball-handles. Makes sharp moves to get around defenders and for his small size, he is an excellent finisher. Like his upside a lot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561074' first='Baris' last='Moore'] – Moore is a guard with long arms and great court vision. Has a real smooth style to his play and his excellent vison going north-and-south is a strength of his. Attacks the basket well and had consistent jumper as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr'] – Aldridge Jr was one of the top freshman here at this event. For his age, he has a pretty strong build and super aggressive when he has the ball in his hands. Shoots the outside ball well and does it with confidence. Lot of potential in Aldridge as his high school career continues.

[player_tooltip player_id='1277590' first='Clem' last='Butler'] - Butler was the tallest player in the gym on Sunday and he stood out over everybody. Foot work and running the floor still need some work but thought he was real solid around the rim and knew how to utilize his height over the smaller defenders. Rebounds and protects the rim for the most part. Motor could use some work too. Butler has all the right tools to be a dominant big but needs to continue to put in the work.
