Ward has had a monster senior season as one of the top scorers in southern Indiana and leading the way for this 19-0 South Ripley team. The Raiders will put their undefeated record on the line on Thursday night as they host Greensburg. Small college programs will want to continue recruiting Ward into the spring. He is an excellent scorer/shot-maker.

South Ripley is on track to rounding out the regular season undefeated and a big reason to that has been the play of senior shooting guard

. Ward has always been one of the better under-the-radar players we have had in the in-state 2025 class and this season, he stepped up in a big way for the Raiders, being one of their leading scores. Ward plays with a high IQ, has good confidence in his game, and can light it up from deep. Watch him this week at Rising Sun (2/21) and then when South Ripley hosts Greensburg (2/22).

Ward, a 6’1″ guard out of South Ripley High School, certainly made a case as the best player on Team 8. He was certainly one of the most effective shooters at The Expo as he was making shots behind the arc at a high level in both 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play. Having seen Ward multiple times, I am always impressed with his ability to work off the ball to find a free look for his smooth jumper. He looks to have gotten stronger too which will really help South Ripley this upcoming season.
