Expert Analysis
Kyler Staley | Prep Hoops Scout
Moore came into The Expo and showed why he is ranked as a Top 40 prospect in the Class of 2026. He is a very quick, dynamic playmaker with the ball that can score and create at all three levels. Moore is a smart player as well with high-level court vision and feel for creating in tight windows. A growth spurt would really take his game to the next level as he has all the tools you really want in a guard, but his explosive athleticism generally makes up for his size. Another Kokomo player that will step into a much larger role this season.

Moore was a walk-up registrant for The Expo and took the event by storm. The dynamic playmaker from Kokomo High School displayed his next-level athleticism in every way imaginable. Whether he was crossing up a defender to get into the paint, exploding at the end of a drive to finish at the rim, or hawking the ball handler defensively, Moore constantly active and making his presence felt. Replacing Mr. Basketball and a second Indiana All-Star won’t be easy, but the Wildkats could be well served by asking Moore to step into more of a primary role.

Moore is going to be a bid piece and addition to a Kokomo team that is looking to get back to the state championship. After averaging 12.2 points and 2.8 assists per game as a freshman at Taylor, this 5’11” guard transferred to defending state runner-up Kokomo for his sophomore season. Moore is explosive off of the dribble and does a great job of finishing at the end of his drives. With Bidunga needing top tier guard play around him, Moore will be a lot of help and Moore will benefit from it, as well.

It has been a great fall for this dynamic scoring guard that transferred from Taylor to Kokomo High School for his sophomore season. Moore culminated his strong off-season with an exclamation point on Sunday afternoon scoring 38 points in a game. He is so good with the ball in his hands, gets to the rim consistently, and is a threat to score it from all three levels at any given time. The Wildkats backcourt is going to be younger, but it will feature some real explosiveness this season.
