Nietert is a lengthy and athletic shooting guard that has an extremely high release point, making his jumper hard to block or alter, leading to a good amount of success in that category this season. He has the ability to put the ball on the floor and create his own off the dribble or create for others if someone on the defense over-helps. On defense he does well on screens while being the first player moving and communicating around what is going on. This AAU season he will lace up with Martin Bros AAU on the UA circuit for another set of spring and summer sessions. I expect his handwork and dedication to the game to pay off big time this upcoming AAU season.

Nehemiah Lewis
Nehemiah Lewis
Nehemiah Lewis is an interesting talent who had a nice sophomore season for Burlington high school on the way to an overall 16-7 record. Lewis is an athlete. He has good size, speed, and athleticism near the rim. For the Grey Hounds this season he was asked to protect the paint and rebound, a job he took to heart and was quite successful at. Along with all his physical abilities he also has a good amount of basketball skill which helps him produce when he is on the floor. He has a soft touch near the rim while doing a good job of picking and choosing his spots wether to attack or draw a double team and pass out. Going forward Lewis is a player that I’d keep an eye on. He is going to be a big-time production player for the Grey Hounds moving forward after the graduating of this years senior class.
Holden Arnaman Holden Arnaman 6’3″ | PG West Branch | 2024 State IA has been the heartbeat and play-maker for whatever team he has stepped on the floor for the past few seasons, I expect him to do the same thing going into the AAU spring. For his high school season Arnaman was a force to be reckoned with. He averaged 22 PPG on 47% shooting, including 42% from behind the three point line. On top of that Arnaman did a fantastic job getting others involved as the season went on. He ended the year dishing out 5.7 APG. Ranking him in the top 10 in the state for the 2024 class and showing to all potential recruiters out there that he has the ability to create for others as well as score the rock at an extremely high rate. This spring he will be joining up with Kingdom Hoops AAU out of Des Moines for one last ride before his final high school season approaches.

Joseph Bean Joseph Bean 6’3″ | PG Kennedy | 2024 State IA helped lead his Cedar Rapdis-Xavier high school team to the 3A state championship this past high school season where they fell just short. All season long Bean showed that he was a top performer on the floor in almost every facet of the game between both teams playing in the contest. He is a smooth handling combo guard with a high basketball IQ. He keeps it simple and doesn’t force any unneeded action leading him into trouble. If he has a mismatch according to size he will go to post up his defender immediately, if not he will work the ball around the perimeter with the ability to attack off the dribble or pull up for a nice looking jump shot. I’m curious to where he is going to land for college ball but whoever gets him is receiving a player who will come in, do what’s asked of him, and make everyone else around him on the floor better with the game style he possesses.
