A lot of players will benefit off growing their games during the AAU season, here’s just a couple guards who could rise after having a good AAU season this summer.
I love watching Carter on the court. He took on a bigger role this season for Mt Tahoma and did very well filling in the gaps for the previous senior class that left. He is quick with the ball in his hands, attacking the bucket strong every time. He distributes the ball very efficiently as the teams primary ball handler. He will showcase his deep shot more this summer, which might lead to him rising after the summer.
Highlights
Jaymon had a huge AAU season last year, showcasing his skills on a high level all season. He also had a great season with Meadowdale. He handles the ball well and finds his teammates nicely. His deep shot is effective, as he can sink 4/5 in a game with ease. He will look to keep perfecting his craft this summer with the guys at Seattle Select.
RA Long had a phenomenal season this year and Lonnie grew his game in a great way. He attacks the ball well, using his quick first step to his advantage. He hits the deep ball off the catch very well. This summer he will have the opportunity to have the ball in his hands more, which could lead to Brown evolving his game in a big way.
WF West didn’t have the season they planned to have, but Tyler had a very solid season. He worked well with Soren Dalan Soren Dalan 6’10” | C W.F West | 2023 State WA and hits the three shot very well. He is playing for Roots Academy this summer and will showcase more of his skills during the AAU season. I expect him to make his game more complete and well rounded, with the help of the excellent staff with Roots.
