He is headed off to the University of Connecticut next season. He can do it all on the court and does it all so smoothly. Stewart makes plays all over the court and brings a skillset that not even the best defenders can handle. He can score any way you please, and his defensive effort is quietly just as impressive. He explodes toward the rim to reject shots, and has the length and footwork to lockdown smaller, quicker players.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1270609"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Brooklyn has been leading his team to a very, very good season so far. They went 14-0 in league play and Hicks scored 30 or more points in a game quite often. So often it became a normal thing for the senior. He won MVP within his conference for the 3rd time and impresses each time out. He's extremely athletic, being able to dunk through the lane on anyone. He hits the deep shot well and finds his mid-range spots nicely.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1450491"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Lafferty is a player who offers good size at the guard position. He's versatile on the court  and can dish it out as well as get to the hoop effectively and finish  through contact. Lafferty is at his best finding open guys and making his teammates look good by his impressive passes. His ability to takeover with his size and strength creates a tough matchup for opposing guards. He is one of the top players in the entire 2024 class and is still improving.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1450489"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Zaveon plays the game with such a high IQ. He knows how to pick apart opposing defenses and is one of the top players in the class. Jones gets to the bucket very nicely and gets to the free throw line efficiently and when finds his groove, he's nearly unstoppable. He's strong and works angles defenders. Zaveon can bury the mid-range shot at times and has been working on his three point shot.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1450484"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Jacob is a dominant big man down low and not many players match-up well against him. Cofie is extremely athletic on the court and is extremely fun to watch play. He is a versatile forward with exceptional size. He moves well, handles the ball, and is extending his consistent shooting range out to three-point. He was already a dominant in the paint but now he is adding more to his game and becoming a top Division 1 prospect arguably in the country.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63e97c3eaca37"} /-->

As the journey for the state championship trophies begin, I will be taking a look at the teams that are likely going to the state tournament and find players within those teams who could take over and lead their teams to deep runs. I will do the 3A class in this article.
