Quebedeaux was the star of his Epiphany team this year, averaging 22.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and 3.9 APG. He projects as a point guard who loves to score it, but also distributes to his teammates at a high level. He’s still developing his jumper, but showed a good command of scoring inside the arc. He’s got a lot to still add to his game, but he has shown a consistent ability to fill it up game after game.

Jossiah Johnson Jossiah Johnson 6’6″ | PF Freedom Christian Academy | 2025 NC is a player built like he is ready for college right now, and it’s hard to see how he won’t end up a great player. He brings the right character traits and intangibles to the floor every time he plays, and those combined with his outstanding physical traits for his age make me a believer. He averaged 16 PPG and 6.3 RPG this season, scoring very efficiently down low and at the rim. He defends very well with size and athleticism, meaning he can match up on multiple positions each night. He will be a name to watch over the coming years as he continues to grow and get stronger.
Newman is a shifty lead guard that has played a big role on a Gaston Christian team that has exceeded expectations so far this year. He’s averaging 16 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 4 APG on decent shooting splits, which are certainly better than they were last year as an eighth grader. He’s got a lot of room to grow, physically and skill-wise, but his skillset projects as someone who is going to the next level. He can shoot it from all three levels, make the right read for his teammates, and is intense and active on the defensive end. He will be a fun guy to watch for three more years, and see where he ends up.
Harrells Christian has had a really above average year, and a lot of it has to do with Antonio McKoy Antonio McKoy 6’4″ | SF Harrells Christian | 2026 State NC and his brother, Deshaun. Antonio is a prototypically sized wing for colleges, and he provides great length and intensity on the defensive end of the floor. Offensively, he’s still coming along as a scorer and shooter, but he shows flashes with his athleticism and ability to just outwork people for buckets. His attitude and motor on the defensive end is something you can’t teach easily and it bodes well for his long-term success. He should be a rankings riser for a long time.

Dane Cassada Dane Cassada 6’3″ | CG Calvary Day School | 2026 State NC has been part of the varsity program at Calvary Day for two years now, but has taken a leap in how he makes his team better. He plays the role of a pure point guard well, averaging 4.6 assists per game. Having the ball in his hands generally means he’s looking to create for a teammate, but he can score as well, averaging 12.7 PPG and making just over 2 three pointers a game on 42% shooting. He’s a floor spacer, but also a three level scorer who can attack the rim and create inside the arc. He embodies all of the offensive traits you want to see in a lead guard, and this should serve him well as he continues to have the ball in his hands throughout his high school career.
