<p>This past week I went to two games in Columbus that included Westerville North's big-time win over Delaware Hayes 53-39. Then on Friday night, I went to see Hilliard Davidson take on Hilliard Bradley and Bradley won the very hard-fought game on their home court 41-36. This article will talk about the top players from these games. </p>

You can tell he is more confident this year. Takes command and leadership when he has the ball. Westerville North's main scorer, [player_tooltip player_id='1399902' first='Carter' last='Reese'], was in foul trouble the entire game and Young filled the primary scorer role easily. Showed great touch around the rim. Made a lot of floaters. His shot was falling. He never forced it either. He scored very efficiently.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1222373"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"u003ca href=u0022https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/01/Jesse-Burris-North.jpgu0022u003eu003cimg class=u0022size-medium wp-image-1773335 alignrightu0022 src=u0022https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/01/Jesse-Burris-North.jpg?w=300u0022 alt=u0022u0022 width=u0022300u0022 height=u0022200u0022 /u003eu003c/au003eYou can tell Westerville North's gameplay was to shut down Burris and they did a great job of it but he still finished with 18. You cant truly stop this kid you can only try and contain him. He just gets to his spot and rises above defenders and knocks down shots. He needs no space to get his shot up. Very good at hitting contested shots. He did a lot of work with his back to the basket and near the rim. He seems to have gotten a little bigger and strong. His bounce now is serious. Floats to the rim.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1222352"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"u003ca href=u0022https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/01/Cade-Norris-Bradley.jpgu0022u003eu003cimg class=u0022size-medium wp-image-1773336 alignleftu0022 src=u0022https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/01/Cade-Norris-Bradley.jpg?w=300u0022 alt=u0022u0022 width=u0022300u0022 height=u0022220u0022 /u003eu003c/au003eNorris has taken a step forward this year. He is physically stronger and bigger. It showcases as he seems more comfortable attacking the basket. He does it more often and he is absorbing contact way better. Because of his size, he is shown in positions with his back to the basket and his ability to pass out of the post is really good. But when Bradley needed to take control of the game Norris was just running pick-n-roll and picking out his mismatch. It was very impressive for a junior to do that because you almost only see that in the NBA. His mid-range game off the pick-n-roll was great and so was his passing. Norris took control of the game on Friday.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1480850"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"u003ca href=u0022https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/01/tai-perkins-Wnorth.jpgu0022u003eu003cimg class=u0022size-medium wp-image-1773345 alignrightu0022 src=u0022https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/01/tai-perkins-Wnorth.jpg?w=300u0022 alt=u0022u0022 width=u0022300u0022 height=u0022200u0022 /u003eu003c/au003eI absolutely love [player_tooltip player_id='1480850' first='Tai' last='Perkins']. I found myself getting really excited watching him play on Tuesday. He is a sophomore guard that has super long arms and legs. He is very fast with the ball in his hands. Just simply outruns everyone to the rim. He does a great job of attacking lanes. He knows when and when not to attack lanes as well. One thing that impressed me was this kid passing ability. He did a phenomenal job of finding the open guy. Perkins really impressed me on Tuesday.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1052784"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"u003ca href=u0022https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/01/Peyton-Frey-Bradley.jpgu0022u003eu003cimg class=u0022size-medium wp-image-1773351 alignleftu0022 src=u0022https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/01/Peyton-Frey-Bradley.jpg?w=300u0022 alt=u0022u0022 width=u0022300u0022 height=u0022236u0022 /u003eu003c/au003eFrey showed on Friday he can do a little bit of it all. He played a lot of the game beyond the arc. He used his speed for his size to get around the big of the opposing team. Used his pump fake and jab well to get the defender's feet off balance. He always drove to the rim hard and finished tough. His ability to stretch the defense did not only open up lanes for himself but his teammates as well. After being tied at halftime he came out way more aggressive in the second half. He was knocking down shots and continued to apply pressure on the rim.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63d7fdcb9309d"} /-->
