Moeller will play for the GCL-South title on Friday night against rival St Xavier and Abraham will be a crucial piece for the Crusaders in this contest. In the first meeting this season Abraham had seven blocks. The defensive end of the court is where I'm most intrigued with Abraham as he also has a game this season with six steals. Hoping to see Abraham find his confidence again offensively after starting the season with some big games against out of state teams. Look for Abraham to be seen by a ton of college coaches this summer at the scholarship level due to his size, defensive impact and foot speed.

Newark has been one of the top teams in the state this season and Brooks has had a breakout season for the Wildcats. Brooks is a tough on-ball defender, makes shots efficiently and does things that doesn't show up on the stat sheet. In the biggest games of the season, Brooks has shown up and made an impact on both ends of the floor. If Newark is going to win the region and make a final four, Brooks will need to continue shining when the lights are brightest.

Centerville has five players averaging between 7.9 and 13 PPG with Sam leading the way at 13 PPG. Sam is an excellent shot maker off the catch and is shooting 50% from the floor and 43% from 3-point range on the season. In the Elks last five games, all conference victories, Sam has scored in double-figures in each contest, his longest such streak of the season. Add in the fact that Sam has a strong frame and can defend well at the point of attack and he has earned a jump up our rankings.

The leading scorer and rebounder in the GWOC, McGraw has had a breakout junior season and is establishing himself as one of the best high school players in the greater Dayton area. McGraw is physical on the interior and has soft hands to catch contested passes to him in the paint. McGraw is incredibly efficient in the paint due to his impressive touch at the rim and high basketball IQ. His production suggests he will be a coveted small college forward recruit starting this summer when schools of that level prioritize 2027 prospects.
