The Jordan Falcons gave the Northwood Chargers all they could handle in a Tuesday night non-conference matchup.

Both teams came out firing in the first quarter as the Chargers jumped out to quick lead before the Falcons would respond with a strong ending. Charlie Russell's 3-pointer at the buzzer would make things 17-15 after 1, giving Jordan a slight lead.

Northwood would come out firing on all cylinders in the second quarter, going on a 15-2 run early to lead 32-19 with 2:24 left in the half. Jordan wouldn't go away quietly though, as they would respond with a 7-0 run of their own spread-headed by [player_tooltip player_id='1350176' first='RJ' last='Bridges'] to bring things within single digits, 32-26.

The Chargers would end the half on a high note on the final possession of the half, using good spacing and ball movement to find [player_tooltip player_id='1352123' first='Max' last='Frazier'] down low for a dunk to lead 34-26 at the half.

Jordan would come out in the third quarter playing a lot more inspired as they began the quarter with a 6-0 run to bring things within two at 34-32. Jordan would take a brief lead at 39-38 before Northwood would come together and respond with a run of their own though led by the playmaking of [player_tooltip player_id='1115509' first='Drake' last='Powell']. The Chargers led 43-39 with 4:08 left as things would continue to go back and forth.

A personal run by [player_tooltip player_id='1350176' first='RJ' last='Bridges'] to end the quarter would tie things up at 49 entering the final quarter.

Things turned completely around in the fourth quarter for the Chargers. Powell stepped up in a big way once again, finding his teammates for play after play and before you knew it, the score ballooned to 63-51 before Jordan would respond. Northwood would outscore Jordan 27-16 in the final frame to get a 76-65 victory in the end.
<!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1115509"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":1686305,"_player_evaluations_0_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"With future UNC head coach Hubert Davis in attendance, Powell put on a show.
