Braydon Jacob – Lutheran
Jacob has simply been one of the best scoring guards from his class, we could be talking about the state if he keeps it up. The guard has kicked off the season with 25.5 points, 4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 3.5 steals while hitting 50% of his three pointers. He is a shooter, getting in no less than six threes through any of his four games. Jacob has been prolific off the catch and movement, proving dependable through contests. Already possesssing plenty of gravity along the perimeter, the shooting guard has ample opportunties to playmake off hard closeouts.
Tevin Riehl Tevin Riehl 6'0" | CG Mesa Ridge | 2024 State CO – Mesa Ridge
Riehl has been consistent perimeter presence for undefeated Mesa Ridge. The 6′ guard has been able to get to his shot off the catch or from pullups. When given space in the fullcourt, Riehl has ample confidence getting looks off the bounce. A major development for the guard has been his willingness as a passer, truly maximizing his scoring gravity. Throughout the beginning of the season, Riehl has posted 16 points, 4 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 3.4 steals per game while shooting 43% on triples.
Treyton Fletcher Treyton Fletcher 6'6" | PF Littleton | 2024 State CO – Littleton
Fletcher has gotten off to a hot start from beyond the arc, a notable area for the small forward. At roughly 6’6, Fletcher has traditionally gotten the majority of possessions inside the arc. Already a valuable post shotmaker, the forward still maintained a steady diet of short fadeaways and putbacks through this season. The key difference this season has been the shooting efficiency, already knocking down 17 threes this season, compared to 21 last season. Through his junior year, Fletcher has contributed 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists per game while knocking down 39% of his threes.
Eli Kim Eli Kim 5'11" | PG Valor Christian | 2024 State CO – Valor Christian
Kim will be a valuable rotation piece for a perimeter centric Valor Christian group. The combo guard is one of the four sparkplug shooters within the starting lineup. He has been most effective utilizing flares and downscreens to leverage space for periemter shot attempts. Through the start of the season, Kim has posted 11 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game on 42% from beyond the arc. The combo guard will be a vital piece of Valor’s spaced out offense.
Mac Terry Mac Terry 6'4" | CG Rock Canyon | 2024 State CO – Rock Canyon
Terry has provided a steady presence both as a floor space and secondary playmaker. Starting for 3-1 Rock Canyon, the 6’3 shooting guard has an efficient skillset. Terry makes quick decisions within the halfcourt, either shooting or driving before the defense have time to prepare. The guard is already effective making quality decisions after attacking the closeout. Rarely is Terry rushed inside the arc, given his toolbox of floaters or off the dribble passing. Through the start of the year, Terry has posted 9.3 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting 40% from distance.
