We had a Sunshine Series champion crowned and a lot of big time prospects on display. Prep Hoops Florida scout Ross Van De Griek was on site and here are some of the players who stood out in the second half of Day 4.
The 6-6 junior guard showed why he is a prolific playmaker, finishing with a game-high 25 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in today’s 58-47 win over Canterbury (Fort Myers). Despite shooting just 10-of-24 from the field, Knox was making plays on the defensive end as well in the win.
The Furman University signee added 18 points and 5 rebounds in today’s 58-47 win over Canterbury (Fort Myers). Bronson was using his slashing and cutting abilities to get his scoring opportunities. He also knocked down four 3-pointers in the win.
The top ranked sophomore in the nation finished with a double-double 19 points and 14 rebounds, as well as going 7-of-11 from the free throw line. Boozer also added five assists and three steals in tonight’s 65-56 win over Myers Park.
The 6-4 combo guard was crafty and efficient for Myers Park, finishing with 18 points and 13 rebounds in tonight’s 65-56 loss to Columbus. He holds offers from Georgia, Houston, Texas A&M, South Florida and others.
The 6-5 junior small forward added 15 points, 3 rebounds and two assists in tonight’s 65-56 loss to Columbus. He also contributed for four steals in the loss. Mohammed currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan and several others. Most of his points tonight came around the rim, although he did hit two three-pointers and went 5-of-5 from the free throw line.
