Z’yaire Simmons Z’yaire Simmons 6'5" | SF Paterson Kennedy | 2025 State NJ , 6’5 F Paterson Kennedy
Simmons has been lighting up the stat sheet for the Knights so far this season and it should continue when the calendar turns. The 6’5 forward is at his best attacking the basket as he is a strong finisher around the rim and is unafraid of contact. Simmons has a nice handle and is capable of finding his finding his open teammates in the half court. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Simmons has been fun to watch all season long and should continue to fill it up for Paterson Kennedy in 2023.
Tobe Nwobu, Jr. Tobe Nwobu, Jr. 6'1" | PG Academy of the New Church | 2026 State PA , 6’1 PG Camden Catholic
Nwobu has been vital for the Irish’s success this season as he has been the go-to guy for them this season. The 6’1 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the basket. Nwobu knows how to get to his spot on the floor and rises up with confidence on his jumper. He rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure and gets deflections on the defensive end. Nwobu has three 20-point games already this season and should have more as the season continues.
Yaw Ansong Yaw Ansong 6'11" | C Union Catholic | 2025 State #345 Nation NJ , 6’11 C Union Catholic
Ansong started off the season slow for the Vikings, but has started to get more comfortable with the offense. The 6’11 post snatches down rebounds at both ends of the floor as opponents struggle to keep him off the glass. Ansong can finish around the basket and has a nice release on his free throws. He is one of the better shot-blockers in the class with his combination of size, length and athleticism. Ansong is a frontcourt prospect to watch in the new year with his ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor.
Thomas Semiraglio Thomas Semiraglio 6'2" | SG Bishop Eustace | 2025 State NJ , 6’3 SG Bishop Eustace
The Crusaders have started off the season 5-0 and Semiraglio’s play on the perimeter is a big reason why. The 6’3 guard plays with poise with the ball in his hands and knows how to get to his spot on the floor. Semiraglio knows how to finish around the basket and is unafraid of contact. He has a nice release on his jumper and is an underrated defender. Semiraglio poured in 26 points in his last game against Pemberton and should continue to put up more performance like that as the season progresses.
Jordan Ghee Jordan Ghee 6'3" | SG Don Bosco Prep | 2025 State NJ , 6’3 G DePaul Catholic
Ghee has had the ball in his hands more this season for the Spartans, which has been key to his development. The 6’3 guard has a good first step, which he uses to beat his man off the bounce and finish around the rim. Ghee uses his size to see over his defender and rises up nicely on his jumper. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and gets his teammates involved in the offense. Ghee’s ability to play on and off the ball is something that will help his game in a big way.
