Ghee, a guard out of the Hotchkiss School in Connecticut, closed out his post-graduate season with the Class A Player of the Year award. Ghee was a major reason why Hotchkiss was able to win the Class A championship, as the big guard continued to elevate his play from the end of the season all the way through the tournament. He proved to be one of the better isolation scorers in the region this winter, particularly in the mid-range, where his combination of size and strength allowed him to elevate over smaller defenders. He competes on the glass, can make decisions with the ball in his hands in the half-court, and does a nice job of finding his scoring within the flow of the offense. He has yet to decided on a college destination.

Ghee was phenomenal in Sunday’s championship game. The 6-foot-5 wing has a super versatile offensive skillset and can score from all three levels on the court. He has size and athleticism, so he can finish at the rim against contact from larger players, but he also has the wiggle and ball-handling necessary to get to the rim without a screen. Ghee can even make shots from the perimeter as well, and he makes a lot of really impressive reads with his ability to see over the defense and his fast processing speed.. Ghee is a division one prospect who absolutely dominated the championship game and rightfully walked away with the MVP trophy.

Ghee has been playing well all season for a very talented Hotchkiss squad, but he looks better than ever right now. The 6-foot-3 wing has a super well-rounded game and doesn’t have any weaknesses offensively; he can shoot it from the outside and the mid range (he had an awesome game winner against Dexter-Southfield this week), and he has the handle and athleticism necessary to get all the way to the rim and finish. Most impressive are all the little things Ghee does, like guard multiple positions on defense and aggressively hunt down every rebound on both ends. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some scholarship schools pretty interested in Ghee, who should be a key cog in Hotchkiss’ tourney run.

Ghee comes from New Jersey and will be playing on a stacked Hotchkiss team this winter. The 6-foot-3 wing is strong bodied and incredibly long for his size. He’s a three level scorer who can get into the lane and use footwork to finish around bigs, can get to his spots in the mid range and elevate for jumpers, and can hit the three-ball. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is the first or second leading scorer for a Hotchkiss squad that is looking to be really tough. Definite scholarship prospect.

Another solid performance for Ghee this spring. The guard seems to be getting more comfortable and letting the game come to him naturally. Ghee was a frequent paint toucher and had control of the game in the half-court. He is effective scoring at a plethora of different places on the floor. Ghee was a threat to play on or off the ball. He has become more stronger and is taking advantage of his past experience and using them to help him at the prep level against prospects who might not be as battle tested as him. Low majors in need of a guard with size and scoring burst should look at Ghee.

As big a stock riser in the state of New Jersey as anyone so far this spring, Jordan Ghee continued his strong play through the live period, ultimately picking up an offer from Coach Grant Billmeier and NJIT. Ghee showcased much of what makes him a unique combination between positional size and fluidity at the guard position. Smooth and efficient off the bounce, Ghee every game, continues to showcase his ability to get to his spots under control and at a pace that seems to never get too sped up.

Ghee impressed with his ability to get to different spots off the bounce. He has good positional size at the lead guard spot. He shoots a clean ball and is a threat to score from deep. He plays very under control. Ghee also showed he could find others for scoring chances. He is someone who will be on the radar of academic low majors.

Ghee is fluid and efficient off the dribble and very often gets to his spots with ease, rarely ever getting too sped up. Heading into the May live period this upcoming weekend, Ghee will look to showcase what makes him an intriguing prospect that possesses a interesting combination of positional size and poised shot making ability.

Jordan Ghee possesses an interesting combination of size and shot making ability and has showcased much of that throughout the first month of this AAU season. Efficient in his movements, Ghee excels at picking his spots and rarely ever getting too sped up. Ghee thrives at knocking down open catch and shoot threes while also being able to get to his mid range pull ups. Ghee is also creative off the bounce and is capable of creating his own shot when the offense breaks down. Recently committing to The Hotchkiss School for a prep year, look for Ghee’s stock to continue to rise heading into the month of May and beyond this summer.
