Vasic, out of the Hotchkiss School in Connecticut, checks in at #5 among the power forwards and #39 overall. Vasic does a little bit of everything on the offensive end of the floor, showing a varied skillset and the ability to score it in multiple ways. At 6’8″ with long arms, he does a nice job of using his length as a finisher at the rim and also when getting his shot off from behind the arc. He’s got some good athletic pop, moves well laterally, and shows a high IQ as an off ball mover offensively and off ball defender on the other end of the floor.

Vasic, who played with PSA, is a versatile wing capable of both shooting from distance and attacking the basket. He features a smooth, repeatable shooting form that makes him a consistent scoring threat. His athleticism and skill set allow him to create opportunities for himself and his teammates. With his combination of talent and work ethic, Vasic has a high upside for continued growth and impact.

Vasic could be considered a wing but I put him in this category because he protects the rim like a big man and looks to still be growing/developing physically. Th 6-foot-8 wing/forward can shoot it quite well and has a beautiful-looking shot. He has nice footwork and finishing touch in the lane, too, and is always willing and able to make the extra pass out to shooters. He plays the game the right way but has all of the tools to become one of the more intriguing prospects in New England as he continues to develop. Keep an eye on Vasic if you’re a D1 coach.

Vasic is a versatile stretch big who can space the floor with his three-point shooting. He’s also capable of finishing inside, using his size and touch around the rim. Defensively, Vasic can switch onto guards and wings, showing the mobility to guard multiple positions. His blend of shooting, size, and defensive versatility makes him a valuable two-way asset.

Vasic, a big combo forward at the Hotchkiss School, is the perfect example of what a modern forward looks like. Already all of 6’8″, he showcases good playmaking instincts, the ability to handle the ball on the perimeter, and impressive shooting touch from behind the arc. He’s a nice athlete with impressive burst around the rim and can really cover distance quickly with the ball in his hands. Defensively, he’s a terror at the top of a press with his length and instincts in passing lanes. He moves well laterally, can guard up or down a position, and utilizes his athleticism to rebound above the rim. He’s another scholarship prospect that has a high ceiling due to his combination of physical gifts and basketball skill. It’ll be interesting to see just what level he can play himself up to and how much he continues to develop over the coming year.
