Going up against some pretty loaded teams during the full court games, Sam didn't back down from anyone. He utilized his quick burst and shifty handle to get to the rim consistently, and once there he showed the body control to hang in the air and finish in a variety of ways. So crafty around the basket while also having the core strength/balance to take some bumps in the air and still finish at a high level. The type of player you never have to ask to play hard because he's always going full speed on both ends of the floor.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1572691"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"If you just pick up a bunch of players and have them run a pick up game, you won't find many who can produce like Jaleel. In a camp setting where the games are very free flowing, Jaleel's quick and flashy style of play really shines. Since teams aren't running set plays to get guys good looks, Jaleel is able to create for his teammates at such a high level. His handle and quick change of direction allows him to beat his initial defender with ease, causing the defense to collapse on him. When that happens he has the vision to quickly spot the open man and deliver an accurate pass. He's not just a passer though as Jaleel knows how to get his own shots from all three levels. Tough finisher at the rim who gets good elevation on his mid-range pull-up. Would like to see him get a bit more consistent from three but the form is there and the confidence is starting to grow. Very talented 2025 prospect.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1284207"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"When it comes to players who can get their own shot, there aren't many in the 2024 class as good as Randy. He should be in line for a huge junior year at Columbia Heights as he has a good feel for the game and just knows how to get to his spots. Started off his high school career as mostly a three point threat, but has developed a really nice mid-range game to keep defenders on their toes. He has this ability to lull defenders to sleep on the perimeter and then accelerate in a split second to get by them. Randy may not possess a ton of height or explosiveness, but he changes speeds so well and can stop on a dime to hit a pull-up jumper. He's a player who's not afraid to have the ball in his hands down the stretch.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["962201"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Max played at a high level on Friday, leading his team to the 5v5 championship while also winning the 1v1 competition. He's a talented shot creator who can get off his own shot in limited dribbles, and has deep range from beyond the arc. Showed off his athleticism in the open floor with a handful of dunks as well. Because of his passing vision he can play either guard spot, and when handling the ball for his team he was dangerous as a passer in pick u0026amp; rolls. Does a great job of threading the needle and putting it right in his bigs' hands on their way to the hoop.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1288822"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Ater has been excellent this fall, looking to fill in for a lot of lost production at Austin. With his combination of size, skill, and explosive athleticism, he looks ready for a big senior year. When Ater gets downhill there's not much defenders can do to stop him as he can explode effortlessly off one of two feet to either finish with touch or throw down explosive dunks. Has excellent footwork to operate in the high post area at times as well, and knocked down a few turnaround jumpers from that spot as he was able to elevate and get off a shot with a hand in his face. Defensively he can guard the 1-3 but on the help-side he also provides an extra shot blocking threat because of how quickly he can get off the floor.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1221165"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Now at Robbinsdale Cooper, Martez provides a nice option at the 3/4 spots. Even as more of an undersized four he plays way bigger than his size because of how explosive he is and how tenacious he is on the glass. He's someone you want around the rim because he's going to find ways to make plays. Wise runs the floor hard and is an above-the-rim threat in transition. Defensively he guards bigger forwards but has the mobility to switch out and defend on the wing as well. Showed some flashes of improved perimeter skillsets while also knocking down a handful of mid-range jumpers throughout the day.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1612342"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Deidrick looks like he'll be one of the top point guards in the Minneapolis City Conference this season, and will be ready to help Edison compete for a conference title. He never takes a play off, is very poised on the ball, and even in a camp setting was extremely unselfish. Deidrick wasn't forcing anything offensively, and was able to capitalize on what the defense gave him. Taylor is a threat from beyond the arc, but can also blow by defenders off the dribble and finish away from his body to help him score against size. He has good hands defensively to force turnovers, and has the quickness to turn those steals into two points on the other end.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"edit"} /-->
