Jaleel continued to show why he’s one of the best available players in Minnesota’s 2025 class with an electric performance against Maple Grove. The 2025 guard was flying to the rim for a pair of dunks in transition, and was lights out when he was able to get into his mid-range pull-up. His ability to quickly change direction allows him to get into the bit of space he needs to elevate, and from there the lefty guard is almost automatic from 12-15 feet. He finished with 21 points to keep BSM undefeated.

I’ve always liked Jaleel as a player, but he has made some big time improvements to his game. These improvements have been very evident five games into his senior year, helping BSM to a 5-0 start. I have been very impressed with his perimeter shooting in both of the games I have watched, working off the catch and off the dribble. He gets so much elevation on his mid-range pull-up and has been automatic when left open from three off the catch. Donley is averaging over 15 points per game thus far.
