In honor of all of you reading my work through 1400 articles, I’m going to give you 10 ‘can’t miss’ juniors. By ‘can’t miss’, I mean that in my opinion these players are as close to locks as possible to be productive players in high school this coming season and at the next level.
Lewless has all the tools needed to be successful, both now and in the future. He’s one of the most heady lead guards in the Midwest, carrying an incredible feel for the game. Lewless is an excellent decision maker, making quick and accurate choices of where the ball should go and when.

Ode is a gifted overall athlete and basketball player. He can explode to the rim and finish above it with tenacity. Ode is a very bouncy player that can get off the floor in a hurry. Ode is a natural scorer that has a vastly improved jumper. With his skill set and athleticism, success seems well more than likely.
I absolutely love the upside that Cabana carries. He’s a tremendous all around athlete that can simply run faster and jump higher than most. Watch this high school season, because Cabana could be a terror in the open floor. I don’t see any way that these skills don’t equal out to long term success.

Hardy has a lot going for him as a prospect and if he continues this rate of improvement we’re going to be watching him play basketball for years to come. His combination of length, athleticism and ball skills is so intriguing. I picture Hardy as a versatile option that can play multiple positions and roles for coaches in his prep career and at the next level.
I didn’t write enough about Struck following the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250. He played too well and is too talented to not get more ink. The young man is as versatile as they come, allowing himself to manipulate matchups to attack the defense. Struck can work from the perimeter as well as the paint. This underrated athlete will see success both now and in the future.

Bentley has had a very solid summer and fall season and keeps developing as a player and expanding his skill set. He’s a multi level scorer that can find lanes and pick apart a defense. Bentley is so dangerous with a soft mid range jumper that he can hit from many angles. Whatever college coach that welcome Bentley to campus will be well rewarded.
It’s a shooter’s game nowadays and that bodes well for players like Yeager that can absolutely stroke it from behind the arc. He’s flat out one of the best pure shooters in the state of Michigan. When Yeager is grooving his jumper, it’s a big time game changer and a massive headache for the opposition. If you can shoot like Yeager, you’ve got a future in the game.

Ouwinga is one of the most improved post prospects in the state of Michigan. His improved footwork on both ends of the floor have led the way for this rapid climb. Ouwinga isn’t just a post defender, but has developed some nice low post moves that he can count on to get buckets.
Vanlaningham will see long term success just because of his dedication and work ethic alone. He’s always been an elite shooter, but he’s extended his game well beyond that. Vanlaningham can now attack the rim off the bounce. He’s also become a strong and explosive finisher.
