1 Tyler Rolison Tyler Rolison 6'0" | PG St. Bernard | 2023 State #150 Nation CA-S – St Bernard 2023
Rolison is a solid point guard who is set to be the captain of the Vikings this season. He plays under control and can dribble against defensive pressure. Good handles and can get past his defender and to the rim. Draws contact at the rim. Comfortable creating his own shot. Good vision especially in the halfcourt driving and kicking out to open teammates.
2 Kevin Patton – Rancho Christian 2023
Patton has good handles for a forward. He looked comfortable putting the ball on the floor in the halfcourt and making plays. He has consistent range out to the three-point line and is a good catch and shoot player. Solid wing defender. He keeps up with the ball-handler. Uses his length the block shots near the rim.
3 Alex Stewart Alex Stewart 6'5" | PF Pacifica Christian/OC | 2024 State CA-S – Pacifica Christian 2024
Stewart was an overall steady wing. In the halfcourt, he looked to move the ball around and made smart decisions. Read the defense well and made the pass to the open teammate. Good rebounder. Defensively he moved his feet well and stayed in front of the ball-handler. Contested shots well on the perimeter.
4 Denis Woods – Bishop Montgomery 2025
I saw Woods play over the summer during the live period and he stood out then as a good up and coming point guard. He’s a very good ball-handler who can dribble against defensive pressure. Plays under control and doesn’t try to do too much. Pass first guard who keeps the offense flowing.
