We saw most in this group play with their varsity high school teams in Arizona at the Section 7 event held in June. Moving forward as the season progresses we’ll add more 2026 prospect to our watch list before we put out a rankings for this class.
Caden Hutcherson 6’4 Guard of Saint Ignatius
Hutcherson a 6’4 guard did a lot of good things in transition, filling lanes for lay-ups, spotting up in the corner for 3’s he made. He has good form, he made his free throws, and moves without the ball In half-court. He used screens to get open for his jumper, and back door cuts for lay-ups. He had success driving along the baseline, and playing off two feet in the paint.
Elias Obenyah 6’3 Wing of Salesian Prep HS
He has good length, and strength to go along with some athleticism. He has quality handles, with good change of direction, and a nice cross over move he uses to get by defenders. He’s not afraid to attack and challenge defenders going for points in the paint. He has arm length, foot-speed, and lateral movement to be a good on ball defender.
Rashod Cotton 6’0 CG of Modesto Christian HS
He’s a long armed guard with a scorers mentality. He has quality handles, and a good set of moves top free himself up for buckets off the dribble. He does a good job using his body to absorb, and avoid hard contact on the drive. He has a floater, a mid-range jumper and he can drop a 3.
Caden Kreuger 6’0 Guard of Monte Vista HS
Kreuger will be a contributor off the bench. He’s a balanced player with good fundamentals, and won’t make unforced errors, he takes care of the ball. He has a good understanding of the game, good court vision, and will make the extra pass. He runs hard to fill lanes, and look for open spots in transition. He’s not hesitant to put up a 3ptr if he has a good look. He can get into the paint for a jump stop, and more forcing the defense to react.
Steele Labagh 6’1 Guard of Saint Ignatius HS.
We got our first look at Labagh during the Section 7 Event. He came off the bench to provide a spark to his team. He’s a good court runner, with good speed. He handles, and passes well in transition. He’s always moving, ready to shoot, or pass in the half-court. He has good form and a quick release shooting 3’s, and mid-range jump shots. He’s aggressive with good hand and foot-speed.
