16. Kofi Peyton Kofi Peyton 6'4" | SG Federal Way | 2024 State WA 6’3 CG Federal Way | Seattle Rotary
Peyton is an explosive player from the guard spot, attacking the rim with power and finesse. He shouldered a big offensive load for the Chief Sealth Seahawks last season which helped show his will to compete, but next year he joins a Federal Way squad that should increase the pace and open the floor more for Peyton. He should also see more good looks from the outside where he has a quick release and extended range. Peyton is also a good contributor on the boards and likes to get it and go.
17. Ajayi Simmons Ajayi Simmons 6'7" | SF Garfield | 2024 State WA 6’6 SF Renton | Renton Select
Simmons is yet another talented big man in the class and has the foundation to be a rim-protecting stretch four. He is long and still a little raw, but shows good footwork and a natural feel for the jumper. He’s good at operating with his back to the hoop, can hit the contested mid-range, and is working on stretching that range out to three-point land. Simmons has the athleticism to run the floor well both ways, chasing down shots or finishing on offense. His game should really take off as he gets stronger and continues to refine the jumper.
18. Jaydus Green Jaydus Green 6'4" | SG Great Futures Prep | 2025 State WA 6’5 CG Steilacoom | Seattle Rotary
Green is another player that shouldered a heavy offensive load last season. He’s a long guard with good range, and at times an effortless stroke. He has good instincts to wiggle through defenses and create looks and has a lethal spin move inside. While he’s an excellent catch and shoot guy, he has the tools to be a strong shooter off the bounce too. Green will continue to be a focal point for Steilacoom and adds solid rebounding from the guard spot.
19. Braydon Olson Braydon Olson 6'2" | CG Mark Morris | 2024 State WA 6’2 CG Mark Morris | ECBA
Olson is a popular name coming out of Southwest Washington. He put up just over 16 points a game last season for Mark Morris and has not slowed down through the spring. He’s an attacking force on offense and finishes strong at the hoop. He can knock down the open three and shows a good stroke from mid-range as well. On the other side of the ball, Olson teams up with backcourt mate, Kobe Parlin Kobe Parlin 6'1" | CG Mark Morris | 2023 State WA , to put pressure on opposing guards. He jumps passing lanes and limits court vision through high pressure, slowing down opposing offenses. Olson is a force scoring the ball and will only get better.
20. Dylan Jay Dylan Jay 6'4" | SG Phhoenix Prep | 2024 State AZ 6’4 SG Chelan | Hooptown Elite
Here is a player that always has the green light. He has one of the quickest sets and releases of any shooter in his class and finishes the shot with a tight snap of the wrist. His height and quick release allow him to shoot confidently under pressure and make Jay more open than other players. He’s not afraid to mix it up inside and goes after offensive boards and second-chance points. He definitely looks to set defenses up with his jumper but can blow by overly-aggressive closeouts and finish with strength at the cup. He’s got some sneaky athleticism that should be on display as his role continues to grow next season in Chelan.
