Expert Analysis
Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
Peyton looked real good early on against Lincoln (Tacoma), finding the rhythm in his jumper from all over the floor and just looked like an extremely confident player. He’s a strong guard who got up for a couple of big finishes at the rim and overall used his body well at the rim. He’ll be an important player to watch as the season goes on and Federal Way fights for another trip to the state tournament.

How do you think your AAU & HS summer league went? What is your outlook on your upcoming season?
-High school summer league was an experience I’m definitely adapting to all 8 of our seniors that graduated last year and accepting a way bigger role but this is always what I wanted and what I’ve been working for so I definitely took advantage of it I had multiple 30 point games and 1 40 point game , AAU was great I love playing with my brothers because they all fight and go to war me and my teammates had a small team on Seattle rotary but we still fought and competed every single game that we could and we had some dawgs AAU was fun and I definitely feel like I showcased my talents.
What are some things that stand out about your game? Things that coaches can see and know you excel at
-I think something’s that really stand out about my game is I can guard 1-5 and I can score at all 3 levels and shoot the ball well also my size i am 6’3 190 pounds.
What are you looking for in a school beyond HS?
-What I’m looking for in a school beyond high school is just a school that I can grow as a player and develop , a place with a winning mindset that’s gonna push me every day to get better.
Have you been in contact with any coaches/schools? If so, what schools?
-I have been in contact with Idaho State , Western Washington , SPU , CBU , UPS , Columbia, & Pepperdine.
What do you want to improve on most in your game before playing at the next level?
-I want to improve the most on my lateral quickness and my endurance lateral quickness so I can slide my feet faster on defense and endurance so I can go to war on the court longer : taking charges , rebounding , etc.

A solid perimeter player who can do a lot of things well. He is a more than capable shooter from three and also a great defender. He can attack the defense off the dribble and cause some issues with the match-up for most teams on the perimeter. This is a deep team with a lot of talented athletes. The athleticism advantage goes to Federal Way in this one.

Kofi has been off to a fairly slow start at his new school, Federal Way, but he is a player who can breakout and have a crazy game at any point. Peyton has an extremely high IQ on the court, often knowing his next move before he gets the ball. He catches the ball ready to attack but can knock down his mid-range and deep shots when needed. He’s great coming off a screen to shoot the ball just as he is with putting it on the floor and pulling up for a mid range shot.
