Mason had a phenomenal senior season and lead Federal Way to the state tournament. He controlled the offense really well all season long, showing strong leadership and fantastic passing abilities. He earned 4A NPSL MVP honors this season and proved to everyone he is a big time player and should be getting big time looks. He’s easily a D2 player, especially with his work ethic.

Previous Rank: 65rnThomas has been a big figure for Federal Way this season, posting efficient games from the field like his 19-point outing against Todd Beamer going 7-of-8 from the field. He’s got a good mix of strength, shooting, and craftiness in the half court, showing he can score from inside and out, and doesn’t often need a ton of space to do so. He’s helped revamp the Federal Way backcourt that lost a lot of producers from last season. Thomas is a well-rounded offensive player who made the most of his touches against Lincoln (Tacoma), doing what he does and burying 3-point shots, but also showing his control and strength while going downhill. He got out on the end of a lot of fast breaks and was really aggressive throughout the course of the game.

Thomas is a strong guard who has the footwork and range of finishing moves to be a real problem at the hoop. He counts on getting that first step and then keeping that edge on his defender all the way to the hoop. Part of that first step success is reliant on the threat of his 3-point shooting. His offensive skillset was on full display Saturday, setting up his drives with consistent shooting from outside and keeping defenders guessing all day long.
