Lane is a strong kid at 6-foot-4, who already seems to have an understanding of how his strength can help slow things down for him. He played under control out of different spots with the ball, had great control in the post, was poised when extra defenders came his way, and made great decisions with the rock. He played on balance, did well to recognize when to attack right off the catch or be a little more patient, and had the touch to score consistently with his touches around the paint. Had a high work rate as well, and was a consistent factor for his squad at the showcase.

Lane is a strong kid who was able to work out of different spots but consistently ended up around the paint to use his size and skill to score. Had the footwork from the blocks to score off post catches, showed soft touch on some turnaround shots in the short to midrange, and played tough on the glass on both ends. Was confident in his strength advantage over a lot of matchups which allowed him to be patient and not rush touches in close.
