Thomas is an intriguing prospect in this 2030 class. The elements of a successful smaller guard were apparent at the combine; ability to strike from deep, crafty finishes with timing and placement off the glass, and the quickness to get into gaps. After failing to convert on just two shots in his first game, Thomas got more aggressive and connected on 5-of-13 threes (38%) over the next two games. But he also looked to get inside more, and even after getting his shot blocked a couple of times, he kept at it and converted some sneaky finishes inside when defenders looked sure they would get to his shot.
