About Braydon
Expert Analysis
Devin Record | Prep Hoops Scout
Olson has been having such an amazing season, amassing over 40 points in a game multiple times this season. He broke the school record for most points in a game, then did it again. He has the most points in Mark Morris history and just knows how to put the ball in the bucket. There has been many games where he scores more than half the teams points and contributes more off of assists to teammates. He’s a huge asset for the squad, who could struggle if Olson struggles, but he has yet to show that he can’t handle the pressure of carrying the team.

Olson should make a strong push for 2A Player of the Year and could end up leading the state in scoring. He’s an electric player with a smooth bag of moves and looks automatic from long-range at times. He helped take Mark Morris to the title game last season and is a big-time player to key in on this winter.

Braydon is a walking bucket. I really mean that, he scores at all 3 levels so smoothly and efficently. Olson has been dominating during the summer, having multiple 40+ point games including one over 50. His handles have gotten a lot tighter and he has been adding a variety of moves to his offensive game. He has the build of a college athlete and has showed the capability of playing against top talent over the course of the summer.

Prev Rank: 19 (+5)rnOlson shared the backcourt with Kobe Parlin last season, with both guards averaging over 20 points per game. Next season, he will be the guy. He’s already shown the ability to drop big scoring games but he’ll also be counted on to set the tone defensively and create more looks for teammates. He’s done a great job improving his handle, adding moves to his bag, and diversifying his ability to attack in the half court. He’s become an electrifying player who sees the court extremely well and should be a candidate for 2A player of the year next season.
