Prev Rank: 14 (+1)rnJay has proven to be one of the best in his class at making the tough shots. He almost seems to lock in more when there is a hand in his face. He can hit with a quick release under duress, with turnarounds and fadeaways working with his back to the hoop and has added some toughness when attacking the rim. He’s made a concerted effort to improve his dribbling and take on more challenges defensively, as well as continuing to improve his leadership qualities.

How do you think your team and yourself performed throughout this season?rn-I think we had a really talented and well coached team this year. We struggled staying consistent at times playing against competition we took for granted. I’d say I had a pretty solid season this year as my role changed on the team from last year. I averaged around 23ppg and had a 40 point game including four 30+ point games. I realize there are areas in my game that I need to improve.
What was the biggest obstacle you and your team faced this season?rn-The biggest obstacle our team faced this season was trying to stay healthy with all the sicknesses that was going around.
What do you think you improved most on the court?rn-I improved most this season on using my ability to attack the rim and also go to my pull up jumper to have other weapons and be a tougher threat. My footwork and athleticism was a big factor that helped me with my finishing at the rim this season.
What are you looking to improve before next season?rn-I am looking to improve my all-around game. I’ve realized there is so much more to impact the game then just scoring so for me I will improve my rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks to fill out the stat line and be a big impact to my team and be all around.
Who are some teammates that you think stood out this season? Who are some teammates who could have breakout years next year in your eyes?rn-Two teammates who stood out this season where Braiden Boyd Braiden Boyd 6'5" | SF Chelan | 2023 State WA and Kellen Reinhart. Some teammates who are going to catch some eyes and have a breakout year are Point Guard Isaac Wilson and PF Ryan Rainville.

He came out of the gates firing from long range, hitting a few threes in the opening minutes. He showed some of that deep range with the three point stroke. He finished with an unofficial 8 threes and 27 points. His range is unlimited and he possesses one of the nicest looking jumpers you’ll see. He can also attack the basket on the break or in the half court, something he will most likely do more of throughout the tournament. He’s a ticking time bomb ready to go off at any time.

Jay was on another level Saturday, scoring anytime the defense let their hands down and proving even when they did contest his shots, it didn’t matter a whole lot. In fact, against D1 Nation AZ he dropped a whopping 40 points. But he didn’t just prove to be a reliable shot-maker, he also showed some real killer instinct in tight games and an inability to backdown to competition.
