Brandon Roddy Brandon Roddy 6'1" | PG Harvest Prep | 2025 State OH , 6’1 PG Harvest Prep 2025 All Ohio Select 15 U: Roddy had a solid freshman season but really stood out for me when watching All Ohio Select in Fort Wayne this Spring. Roddy was able to control the offense and get great in-game reps handling the basketball and making decisions. Roddy plays almost the entire game for All Ohio Select and is getting great experience that he wouldn’t get if he came off the bench for a different team. Roddy is a perfect example of playing within the right system that allows you to shine and develop instead of always going for the team on the best circuit.
Trey Perry Trey Perry 6'1" | PG Lakota East | 2025 State OH , 5’11 PG Lakota East: Perry was a top performer at the Prep Hoops 250 Expo back in the fall and I know Lakota East had a great one coming through the pipeline. Perry is a skilled guard who can make shots from the outside and controls the tempo well. A bit undersized right now, I’ll be fascinated to see how Perry grows and how his body develops over the next few years. I expect Perry to be a major contributor on varsity next season after the Thunderhawks graduate some key contributors from the 2021-22 squad.
Jaiden Arnold Jaiden Arnold 5'10" | PG Cincinnati Aiken | 2025 State OH , 5’10 PG Princeton 2025 Midwest Basketball Club 3SSB 15 U: Arnold got some brief minutes on varsity at the one Princeton game I was able to attend, and that landed him on my radar. I took a strong notice of Arnold for Midwest Basketball Club 15 U as Arnold did a great job as point guard getting his teammates involved and even looking for score for himself. Arnold had some huge scoring games during the first live period as defenses had a hard time keeping him out of the paint. Expect Arnold to continue the tradition of quick and skilled Princeton point guards.
Micah Young Micah Young 6'1" | CG Westerville North | 2025 State OH , 6’0 PG Westerville North 2025: Young was a top central Ohio performer as a freshman, getting into the spotlight with big games on varsity early in the season. Young is advanced for his age with his polish and toughness. I haven’t gotten the chance to see as much of Young as some other prospects on this list and am excited to continue to monitor his development as a two-way point guard.
Kruz McClure Kruz McClure 6'6" | SG Westerville South | 2025 State #183 Nation OH , 6’1 CG Westerville South 2025: McClure earned his way into the varsity rotation for Westerville South and made a big impact in their playoff win over town rival Westerville North. McClure has a tremendously long wingspan that allows him to pressure ball-handlers and get into passing lanes. McClure should get lots more offensive reps as a sophomore because Westerville South graduates a lot of production from last season. Expect to see more what he can do with the ball in his hands next season.
