We will take a look at the top performers from each age group, looking here at some of the 15U standouts.
If you’d like to watch the event, all of the games were streamed and are available for playback on the CBG Live Network.
Cameron Ward Cameron Ward 6'6" | SF Largo | 2025 State #30 Nation MD | 6’4” WG | Team Durant 2025
Ward was the top dog for this Durant team, and the Largo HS product is very intriguing at his age with his size and ability to score the ball in different ways. He’s already very strong and is able to create separation at the rim when he gets downhill, he can stick it from deep consistently and can score it from multiple levels and he’s a good rebounder at his position as well.
Jalen Rougier-Roane Jalen Rougier-Roane 6'5" | CG Sidwell Friends | 2025 State #142 Nation MD | 6’5” F | Team Durant 2025
Rougier-Roane is probably the prospect on this Durant team that has the most upside, as the 6’5” forward has a mix of size, athleticism and versatility that is very intriguing for someone so young. He runs like a wing and has the finishing ability of a big man, he has good touch from multiple levels, he can put it on the deck and he is very versatile on the defensive end too.
Troy Henderson | 5’9” PG | Team Loaded VA 2025
Henderson led Lancaster to the state tournament as just a freshman, and he has good genes as his brother Tyler Henderson was a standout at LC Bird for years before moving on to CNU. Henderson has a command of the game you don’t see in many young point guards, he’s slippery off the bounce and strong with the ball in his hands, he’s crafty both with his handle and his finishing ability and he’s able to create space and drill shots off the bounce late in shot clock situations.
Colt Langdon | 6’5” WF | Team Loaded VA 2025
Langdon is one of the more intriguing long term prospects on this Loaded team, especially if he grows, as he has good size on the wing now and a very good skill set for someone his size. He’s capable of playing on or off the basketball and has a knack for scoring the basketball, he can knock it down from deep consistently and he has good length defensively to get deflections and challenge shots.
Makhi Anderson | 6’4” WF | We R 1 2025
Anderson was one of the more intriguing 15U prospects I saw throughout the event, as the Connecticut native is a big time athlete with good length and a solid skillset already. He can put it on the deck in transition and in isolation situations and get to the rim where he can finish at or above it, he can knock down shots from deep off the catch, he has a lot of potential defensively and he plays with a good motor too.
Rob Johnson | 6’6” F | We R 1 2025
Johnson is another intriguing forward for this We R 1 team that has a lot of young talent, and he’s about as versatile as they come with his big frame and a unique skillset to go along with it. He can score the ball in bunches from all over the floor, he’s comfortable handling the basketball, he can play and guard multiple positions and he’s a good rebounder as well.
Patrick McDonough Patrick McDonough 6'0" | PG Georgetown Prep | 2025 State MD | 5’8” PG | District Basketball Club 2025
McDonough may not look the part, but “P-Tricky” can flat out hoop and reminds me a lot of former DBC standout and current Dartmouth freshman Ryan Cornish. The Georgetown Prep PG has a lot of swag to his game as he has a tight handle and can break guys down off the bounce, he’s able to knock down shots from deep and is a crafty finisher around the rim and he has good feel and IQ as a playmaker too.
