Wilson scored a team high of 17 Points, pulled down 8 Rebounds and blocked 4 shots as he helped his squad defeated South Charlotte for the win.
The dynamic duo of St.Pauls came up big once again as they were able to make a major comeback against Hertford County. Senior Guards Josh Henderson Josh Henderson 5'11" | CG St. Paul's | 2022 State NC and Jeyvian Tatum Jeyvian Tatum 6'3" | CG St Paul's | 2022 State NC led the way in scoring once again and made some big plays down the stretch to lead their team to the next round.
Millbrook HS has been a program that has consistently found themselves deep in the playoffs and this season is no different as they have hit their stride at the right time. Senior Forward CeeJay Jordan CeeJay Jordan 6'4" | SF Millbrook | 2022 State NC and Freshman W/F Colt Langdon Colt Langdon 6'7" | SG Millbrook | 2025 State #114 Nation NC have both been consistent with their scoring and rebounding numbers, each averaging a double/double in the playoffs. If Millbrook hopes to make it back to the state championship to defend their title, they will need these two to continue their stellar level of play.
Unsigned Senior Guard Christian Battle is making his case as one of the better PGs in the area and each game it seems as if he is only getting better. In their win against Pender in the 3rd round of the playoffs, he scored 35 Points, showcasing his ability to put the ball in the bucket in various ways. This young man may be smaller than most but one thing that you can’t measure is the heart that he plays with every time he steps on the court.
Cummings HS has looked to their youth to lead the way this season and Freshman Guard Johnniyus Sharpe Johnniyus Sharpe 6'2" | CG Reidsville | 2025 State NC has stepped up to embrace the challenge. He’s leading the team in scoring this season and dropped 19 Points in their win against Goldsboro to place them in the regional semifinals.
