Jacob Meyer Jacob Meyer 6'2" | PG Holy Cross Covington | 2023 #170 Nation GA , Covington Holy Cross – Meyer has always been athletically superior to most but against high level AAU competition, athleticism isn’t enough. This Spring, Jacob has shown an improved mid range game and no longer relies on getting to the rim to score. The bouncy guard can play defense and stay in front of almost anyone. Look for him to attract D1 coaches to games in July with Midwest Basketball Club.
John Mccrear John Mccrear 6'8" | PF Woodfard | 2023 State #219 Nation KY , Lexington Catholic – At 6’9 with a 7’3 wingspan, McCrear has the “length and upside” part of scouting nailed. So far this spring, John has shown the ability to make shots, including threes and has some of the best dunks you’ll see. In order to get D1 offers, he’ll need to keep getting stronger and look more comfortable putting the ball on the floor. His ceiling is near the highest in the 2023 class.
Jamal Chambers Jamal Chambers 6'2" | PG Fern Creek | 2023 State KY , Western – Jamal started building some momentum for himself as the high school season ended with him on a hot streak. Now that AAU is rolling, he has been leading a good Team Stamina 16u group and showing some offensive versatility as he can score or facilitate. Keep an eye on Jamal as a top 10 point guard in a 2023 class that is LOADED with really good guards.
Teagan Moore Teagan Moore 6'4" | SF Owen County | 2023 State KY , Owen County – Moore has been a hard evaluation because he is able to put up gigantic scoring numbers against small school competition at Owen County and there haven’t been many opportunities to watch him against higher level opposition. Teagan has been putting up huge scoring numbers all spring and done it in a variety of ways. He’s proving doubters wrong and looks like a future D1 wing.
Cole Burch, Daviess County – Burch had a good Sophomore season for the Panthers, leading the team in scoring and rebounding but needs to have a good AAU showing if he wants to eventually end up at the scholarship level in college. So far, he’s answered the bell and leading his Hoop Dreams team while showing he can score the ball against superior athletes thanks to a good skill level and motor.
