All the great teams in the AIA obviously have the talented stars but there are 1-2 players on each team that truly affect many wins and could be their secrets to their success this HS season.

Here is 4A:

Salpointe Catholic--They have one of the deepest groups of guards in the conference but will need juniors Tommy Irish and/or Myles Hersha to have some kind of interior presence.

Catalina Foothills--Moser and their talented guards control games but if junior big man Will Menaugh can be a menace inside and dominate, the Falcons can get to the finals this year.

Arcadia--A talented group of juniors with Majerle, Shaw and Carr but the play from senior newcomer Cam Fass may be the key to their success if he can provide consistency.

St. Mary's--Some talented guards on their roster led by KP Brown but if their stud soph Jeremiah "Bear" Cherry can flex his skill and strength inside, the Knights will go far this year.

Peoria--Some top older guards with Monroe, Bell and Perry plus forward Kogbara is a lot to deal with but if soph forward Awar Anyieth can provide some added depth, the Panthers will be even tougher to cover.

Shadow Mountain--Another older group of guards and wings with Cole and Morrow leading the way but it may be senior newcomer Ori Keedem who could put the Matadors back in the thick of it with his consistent play.

Mesquite--A strong group of guards are obvious strengths of the team but the play of their senior forward Christion Ashe could be the difference of how deep they go in the playoffs.
