-Like the consistency that we’ve seen in Dixon’s motor as a wing piece that is beginning to understand how to fit in best with the Lions. He’s knocking down looks much more consistently off the catch out to 18 feet and is understanding when to cut to space and how to find open areas in the defense to get off a clean look. If he can continue to broaden his impact on the game more frequently as a rebounder and rim-protector, he will increase his value as a versatile wing prospect in the senior class.

-Dixon’s progression as a dependable shot-maker from 18′ has proven crucial to Largo’s success this season, alleviating the pressure on his guards while also making it difficult for opponents to double the post. Loved the footwork on a step through pivot to the rim after getting his defender in the air with the upfake and he scored the next possession on a well-timed face cut to the rim for an easy touch shot in front of the rim. His attention to detail defensively has improved and he’s doing a better job of being up on ball screens to contain the guard long enough for his teamate to fight over the screen.

Dixon is a late-blooming forward who is just starting to scratch the surface as a prospect. His length allowed his to shag rebounds like fly balls. He took smart shots inside of eight feet and converted frequently. Dixon was able to alter some shots also. His best basketball is still ahead of him. His name should be on the radar of prep programs who are looking to add a versatile forward.

is a player to watch on a Largo team that should have a lot of eyes on them. Zion is a versatile player, and his skill set and size translate well to the next level. Zion gets to the rim well and is a fantastic defender. He guards multiple positions and makes plays off the ball. If Zion can extend his jump shot a little further, then I think you’re looking at one of the more complete players in this class.

-Dixon is an intriguing prospect that has a developing skillset as a lanky wing that can do a bit of everything. If he’s able to play with a consistent motor- his ability to drive and finish at the rim, space the floor with midrange jumpers, rebound the basketball, and fly around around defensively should help Largo win games and boost his recruitment. Interested in tracking how he will be used in a Lions rotation that features improved scoring from the backcourt spots
