Previous Ranking: 138
-Ward made a huge jump this season as a productive shooter that can do a little bit of everything for the Lions. Ward grew a few inches, improved his handle to attack closeouts and probe gaps in the defense, and worked on his body to finish better around the rim or sprint the wings in transition. Very interested to see the team context that he chooses for AAU and the role that he has with that group, as he could serve as an effective specialist on an elite team or a do-it-all guard with a different group.

12p 6r 4a vs Gwynn Park
-Ward is putting it together after another growth spurt has pushed him to 6’5 and he has continued to prove his value as a knockdown perimeter shooter. In this game Ward hit two wing 3s off of good ball movement from his team, threw a nice assist over the top to his big, threw a well-placed alley oop lob to a teammate at the rim from the 3 point line, and closed out several possessions with key defensive rebounds. His improved confidence putting the ball on the floor to create for others in the half court or push the pace in transition raises his floor as a prospect as he continues to fill out his game.
