helped contribute 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks, alongside shooting 9/10 from the foul stripe and 50% from the field, giving Ralston Valley the edge they needed to take home the victory. The #8-ranked forward in the senior class showed up big time, attacking the paint with confidence while fluctuating around the mid-range to knock down a plethora of looks. With Andrews’ immense versatility, he’s been a problem that defenses can’t find the answers to figure out. On the defensive end, Andrews is communicative while floating in between passing lanes, ready to strike.

Andrews had himself quite a day as his team was on the brink of elimination, but his final bucket in the final seconds ended up being the biggest basket of the season. Ralston Valley found the hot hand on the day as he finished with 15 points, had some huge rebounds, and used his size. What stood out about Andrews when going through all of the top prospects on the day at the Coliseum was how elite an athlete he is. He’s fluid, he’s the right amount of aggressive, and he checks off all of the boxes. His play translates to wins almost as much as any player in the state, and this is his second sport. Against Rangeview, he’ll need to elevate his game even more, as they do not allow that many opportunities. He’s a player who proved himself at the Coliseum and is the player to watch in their Final 4 matchup. Excited for this one.

As reliable as he is, Andrew’s production and volume are expected to skyrocket.

Andrews is one of the state’s premier athletes as the CSU football commit has become a primary name on the gridiron as one of the state’s best QBs. But, he is also a hooper! I am curious to see if he’s going to give it one last push to bring a state championship to the school for basketball before he heads up to Fort Collins. On the court, he plays with the same kind of precision and makes high-IQ plays. He’s the team’s best rebounder as he put up 7.4 boards a game and also protects the paint with just under 2 blocks a game as well. His ability to affect the game with his rebounding makes Ralston Valley one of the top teams as they have an inside-out attack as he carves up defenses. He also scores with ease as he put up 10.6 points a game to go along with it. He’s a difference-maker who gives them the best chance at bringing home the trophy, and they will need his presence as a bucket-getting, big board securing inside presence. He rises in the rankings as one of the state’s top bigs.

has made immense progress in his game over the years, and a knock-down jump shot has made him one of the best power forwards in the state. Able to duck his shoulder and absorb contact around the rim, Andrews’ deep finishing bag makes him that much more dynamic. The sheer combination of the physicality he plays with, mixed in with his pinpoint IQ, creates an star in the making with Andrews,

Andrews has really been showing out this summer. He’s been a force on both ends of the court, especially down low becoming a serious problem for opponents. Whether it’s snagging boards, protecting the rim, or muscling his way to buckets, he’s making it look easy out there. On offense, he’s using his size and strength to his advantage, carving out space and backing defenders down. His jumper has been smooth, and he’s been knocking down threes too, making him even harder to guard. He runs the floor well in transition, always hustling and putting himself in position to score. Andrews plays with a lot of energy and focus, with a court presence that makes a difference every time he checks in

will continue to climb up the rankings with his consistency game after game. In Ralston’s recent playoff matchup, he tacked on 14 points shooting an impressive 6/7 from the field. This kind of focus is exactly what a coach loves to see when the pressure rises in the playoffs. Look for Andrews to continue to dominate the game.

Leaping onto our page’s radar this season, Andrews has impressed due to his skill down low to create efficient looks. Bringing an excellent drop step and pivot game, paired with the seemingly herculean strength, few matchups can contain him within the state. Ralston Valley will be set as one of the top programs, bringing the familiar elite perimeter playmaking now elevated by various forwards. Defensively, his size makes him a capable post defender who is not easily backed down, his patience paired with the strength makes him a routine shot blocker.
