He battles inside, he keeps the ball rotating, and stretches the floor. He’s also a defensive force who knows his role, and that provides comfort. He’s playing well right now, and that cannot be overlooked. He deserves a push right now. 

Spain is primed for a breakout season at Ralston Valley, stepping into a major role that perfectly matches his skill set and the playmakers surrounding him. With his blend of size and quickness, he’s elusive and tough to handle in the block, finishing through contact and creating clean looks with crafty footwork. He’s just as dangerous on the perimeter, where his quick accurate release forces defenders to guard him far beyond the arc. With more opportunities coming his way, Spain is set to thrive as a versatile scoring threat and key piece of his teams success

Spain has really showed out looking locked in and playing with a ton of confidence. He’s got great size especially when it comes to positioning himself to create mismatches and dominate his matchups. He works off screens really well, and once he comes off, he can either take it hard to the basket or pull up for a smooth jumper. Spain also does a great job moving without the ball, staying active and ready to catch and score. He doesn’t need to dominate the ball to make an impact, finding his spots and being a consistent threat. On defense, he’s always hunting for rebounds or looking to create turnovers, and very quick to flip the switch into transition, helping his team get out and run. Spain is making smart plays, staying aggressive, and really setting the tone on both ends of the floor

Spain will be a helpful forward in Ralston Valley’s depth chart, bringing the size necessary to alter shot attempts from opposing frontcourt matchups. Also capable spacing the floor after popping the ball screen, he serves a unique skillset for someone right around 6’6. His ability to be a physical matchup with relentless energy on the boards will help improve his opportunities as this season goes by. 

With multiple frontcourt names out for Ralston Valley, Spain held his own on the defensive end alongside providing occasional floor spacing. Adding to this group’s wealth of wing and frontcourt size, he will be a helpful forward who can be a threat off the roll and pop. While contesting shots around the rim, his length altered numerous opponent shot attempts, quick to get into position on shot contests.
