Allen, a guard out of the Hotchkiss School in Connecticut, checks in at #39 among the point guards and #249 overall. The 5’9″ guard was a key contributor on a Hotchkiss squad that won the NEPSAC Class A title. He impressed with his ability to control the tempo of a game, to make reads out of ball screens, and to deliver passes on time and on target. While he’s able to consistently get a piece of the paint off of the bounce, it’s his ability to score over size at the rim that really stood out. Defensively, he does a great job of applying pressure at the point of attack and times up his digs or doubles in the post to create steals at a high clip. He remains undecided on a college destination.
