(Pictured) Not only a top player in the state of New York but a top player in the country by a lot of different voices. A three level elite scorer. Handles the ball really well. Explosive finisher at the rim and at the same time can be crafty and score it with finesse. A tremendous shooter from three with good lift. Outstanding defender who can come off the weak side and block shots before you even know he’s there. The future Baylor Bear should be a ESPN household name next season.

Elite level scorer in transition. Extremely athletic he has displayed many electrifying dunks. But he can also score in the mid range and also beyond the arc. Possesses outstanding body control and can finish around the rim off the bounce with an assortment of reverses . He’s a quick jumper able to get up twice before others are coming down on their first .

Edgecombe is coming off a breakout summer in which he went from unranked to one of the top players in the country. He can score at all three levels, with speed and athleticism that allows him to consistently get out in transition for dunks. Edgecombe can also shoot the long ball and make plays for his teammates and himself off the dribble. Edgecombe will for sure be a go to player all season long, coming up clutch in big moments.

The Gatorade player of the year in New York was well deserved. With the sportswriters he was a no brainer first team all state player. With high D1 offers from the power conferences. The first thing you notice about V J is his athleticism. But as you watch him you realize he has a high skill set to add to the explosive game he possesses. A three level scorer. An added plus to his impressive game is his ability and desire to defend. A ball hawk and terrific at coming off the weak side to alter shots. A super talent. Will be a ESPN performer regularly when is college career gets started.

He is a three level scorer. Has the willingness to play as hard offensively as he does defensively. A tremendous high level talent.

V J was voted the NY state player of the year. LUHI played a national schedule that added to the hype around this tremendous talent. He is a bona fide high major D1 player. Has all the tools in the toolbox. A three level scorer. Can explode to the rim or pull up with a finesse layup contorting his body. Tremendous defender on the ball using his length and athleticism. A major stud and well deserving of the player of the year

Calling all D1 coaches get in now on VJ if you haven’t already. The 2024 player is that good. When he came to LUHI the Bahamian born player was seen as an extremely athletic player who was already a very good defender. Still a terrific on the ball defender who at 6”5 with his athleticism blocks shots. Some like on this night in spectacular fashion. But we have seen this player grow into an all around stud. A three level scorer. He nailed 4 threes in the first half and finished with 7 threes. Great lift and smooth coming out of the hand.
