Extremely quick downhill player. Excellent vision and ball handling skills. Can handle it in tight quaters or open space with the same results. Understands the importance of running the offense and getting the ball to the right players in a scoring position. He is a player with the ability to run the offense but also take over a game with his offensive arsenal. Can shoot it from beyond the arc or off the bounce. Defensively he is quick to stay in front of his opponent and making him feel very uncomfortable.

Howell just finished his second varsity season as the Baldwin point guard despite still only being in 9th grade. The young point guard shocked many when he got the call up and started for the Bruins since they are one of the powerhouses for Long Island basketball. We have seen college players not get minutes until Senior year at that program so we understand how rare it is for Howell to be in there. However he is no gimmick, he has an elite assist to turnover ratio, he lives at the line, has a deadly mid range game and seems to never let his offense have a bad possession. This prospect is only going to get better over the next few seasons as he becomes an all time great at Baldwin.
