Johnuel has regained the top spot. The future Kentucky Wildcat has the complete game when you uncover everything he does on the hardwood. The talent is elite he can score multiple ways. He rebounds very well for a guard. He defends on the ball but also has great court awareness that helps him defend off the ball. Exceptional handle against tough opposition. He can weave in and out of trouble. Always in control. With all these attributes on the court off the court is what gets him to ascend to the #1 spot. A loyal, winning player who leads by example on and off the court.
Elite level scorer in transition. Extremely athletic he has displayed many electrifying dunks. But he can also score in the mid range and also beyond the arc. Possesses outstanding body control and can finish around the rim off the bounce with an assortment of reverses . He’s a quick jumper able to get up twice before others are coming down on their first .
The rankings were updated before he played his first game this season for his new squad. After watching him he was worthy of the climb in the rankings. Athletic and long shot blocker. He defends well using that length. Scores the ball in an assortment of ways. Handles it really well in transition. Has great leaping ability which enables him to flush it in transition, off of lobs or in traffic down the lane.
JJ did not move up in our rankings but with the start he is having this year he will rise next update. A tenacious rebounder on the offensive end. He can handle the ball in the open floor. Quick and athletic. Bigger players have trouble staying with him and he is able to rise over smaller players.
Another player who did not move up but his stock is rising. Averaging 19 ppg in the first three games this year. An excellent scorer. Can score in bunches and variety of ways. Crafty passer and ball handler. Has a smooth pull up jumper. Also displayed an assortment of floaters in the lane
