Hall absolutely crushed opponents inside and proved to be a matchup nightmare. He worked defenders on the block with strength, footwork and savvy positioning consistently turning touches into high percentage baskets. When he attacked the rim he finished through contact and punished anyone who tried to stop him. Beyond scoring Hall’s presence inside demanded attention from multiple defenders, which opened up driving lanes and kick out opportunities for teammates. On the defensive end if you went to the hole he was there and played tough and physical against opponents. His dominance in the paint set the tone on both ends and made him one of the most impactful players on the floor over his teams games
