About Sutton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High IQ point guard with great court vision. Looks to make others around him better. Smart with the ball, protective handles, shoots the three ball at a high clip and has a strong midrange game off the bounce. Dependable free throw shooter above 85%. Great teammate and communicator on the floor. Excels at execution and understands film and preparing for an opponent.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Team oriented - doesn’t have to be the guy, will do whatever it takes to win with dignity but understands how to lose with grace and sportsmanship.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Community service work has always been a part of my upbringing and part of my school private school system. I played multiple sports growing up , Football, Soccer , and Baskeball. Have always been a starter and team leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am a late bloomer and still continuing to grow, where most kids my age achieved my size in Middle school. Over the last year I grew from 5’3 to 6’0 with more room to grow based on my sports physical feedback. I also increases my muscle grow from 135lbs to 165lbs over the last 12 months. I work out with a personal trainer 2-3 days a week, PG training 2 days a week, & school ball workouts

What type of college are you looking for?

Division II or NAIA - would consider a 5th year prep or JuCo if I still need more development and growth.

Sunday was my first time seeing Hill play and he showed that he is a competent playmaker with the ball in his hands and isn’t afraid to get a quick three up when he’s playing off the ball. Trinity is known for their tenacious defense and Sutton showed that in stretches at camp as well. I’m not sure how Trinity will look this season but I would think Hill can earn some time on the court.
