Spellman was efficient around the basket throughout the showcase, using his size and touch to consistently finish plays in the paint. He also showed a reliable jumper and was comfortable stepping into shots from the mid range. Down low his hands stood out, allowing him to secure the ball cleanly and keep defenders from forcing turnovers. He played with good patience in the frontcourt, made strong finishes through contact and showed the versatility to score both inside and from the perimeter
