McClain brought the kind of toughness and energy to The Expo that immediately grabbed our attention. He was aggressive getting to the rim, constantly attacking off the bounce and putting pressure on defenders. Once he got downhill he had a knack for getting himself into scoring opportunities and finishing plays. He didn’t just bring it offensively either, McClain competed defensively and played with the same edge on that end of the floor. There was a physicality and nonstop motor to his game that you love to see from a guard. He is a player who wasn’t afraid to attack, compete and make his presence felt on the floor
