With Chon, the size alone stands out as a guard who can battle both inside and out, and he looks varsity-ready. Grandview is going to need him to be as depth may be an issue this season. He was making the right passes, handling pressure, and he did not look out of place from a physical standpoint, which shows the growth in his game. He’s one of the few players that we’ve seen from this Spring who looks more comfortable right now in the high school system, as he is passing and cutting away, setting screens, and rolling and shooting it once it comes to him. I am curious to see what it looks like as they give him more of a scoring load and put the ball in his hands more, as he’s going to have to be one of the rotation pieces for this upcoming season. This was a stock-boosting event for him this weekend
