What stands out most about Giran is how easy the game comes to him and how simple he keeps it. At 6-feet-1 with a wiry-strong frame, Giran has a scoring simplicity to his game with his consistency in catch-and-shoot situations, quick one or two dribble pull-up jumpers and efficient straight-line drives to the basket. Rarely does he over-handle the basketball and his shot selection is good. Giran was second in the Southern Section in scoring as a freshman with 24.2 points per game and was second among 15u EYBL players in scoring at 20.6 points per game.

Giran is one of the smoothest scorers in the 2029 class out west and he didn’t disappoint in the Vegas EYBL session. The 6-foot-1 guard is an efficient, multi-level scorer with or without the ball in his hands with his ability to knock down open catch-and-shoot threes, navigate ball screens with precision to get to his mid-range jumper or crafty at-rim finishes and attack closeouts where he uses his pace and vision to create for teammates. Giran averaged 19.2 points per game during Session IV.

Giran exploded onto the high school scene after scoring 31 points in his first-ever varsity game against eventual Southern Section and State Open Division champion Sierra Canyon. That scoring continued throughout the season as the 6-foot guard led the Rams in scoring with 24.2 points per game, helped Millikan earn an outright Moore League championship and an appearance in the CIF Southern Section Division I quarterfinals. Giran’s combination of perimeter shooting ability, isolation creating feel and a smooth, mature approach to the game will make him a highly-recruited prospect.
