He’s listed as a combo guard for now because he’s demonstrated he can play off ball, hit the open 3ptr. He’ll spend time running point guard for one of NorCal’s top programs. Yes, he will have his ups and downs, nonetheless he has the tools, plays with confidence. He’s been competing at a high level since entering high school. He was in the rotation for the Crusaders CIF Regional Championship Game. Throughout the Spring and Summer he’s playing 15U EYBL with his Oakland Soldiers team.

Judah Van Ewijk made the most of his opportunity, earning the start with Andrew Hillman out. He finished with nine points along with a handful of assists, looking comfortable running the team.

He opened the game with a smooth left-hand finish, setting the tone, and continued to make plays for others. One of the standout moments came on a crafty jump wrap-around pass to #4 for the two-hand finish, a play that highlighted his vision and creativity. In the fourth quarter, Van Ewijk attacked off a left-hand drive and finished through contact for an and-one, showing poise in a key moment.

Jadun Van Ewijk is an electric point guard whose quickness and creativity make him a constant threat. A gifted ball handler and natural playmaker, he has the ability to break down defenses and finish plays around the rim. He scores at all three levels, shooting it confidently both off the catch and off the dribble.

What sets Van Ewijk apart is his maturity as a point guard. He already takes command, leading vocally and by example. Van Ewijk often organizes the offense while still creating for himself. The talented young point guard is quickly emerging as one of the most talked-about freshman point guards in the area.
