About Phil

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is fast and aggressive. I look to create scoring opportunities both off the dribble and from the perimeter, while keeping teammates involved.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m fiercely competitive and always chasing improvement; I push myself in practice so I can bring confidence and energy to games.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I serve as a youth ambassador for homelessness advocacy and mental health awareness, promoting support for disadvantaged individuals. These experiences have helped me develop leadership, discipline, and teamwork outside of basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills by supporting my teammates on and off the court, communicating effectively, and leading by example during practices and games.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced personal challenges outside of basketball, which pushed me to stay focused and use the game as motivation. It strengthened my resilience and determination.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong basketball program, a competitive environment, and coaches who can help me reach my full potential on and off the court.

I really liked what I saw from Phil Gordon Phil Gordon Phil Gordon 6'3" | SG Mojave | 2026 State NV these last few months. The hyper-athletic shooting guard gave teams issues all year with his burst, vertical, and ability to create separation, helping him average 14.7 PPG. When he attacks the basket he’s hard to stay in front of, and he’ll also make counter moves to elude defenders. His season high was 26 against North High School (AZ) and Desert Pines. Beyond his stellar offensive play, he was active on the glass and also caused turnovers fairly regularly.
