was a steady force on offense for Mojave last night. He opened the game with a three-pointer before scoring more inside as the night went on. I liked how he found ways to get open, and his teammates did a good job of finding him as well. Defensively, he contested and altered shots around the basket.

was an asset for the Rattlers on both ends of the court in Arizona. On offense, he scored inside and threw down a couple of dunks. On defense, he played with effort and disrupted shots. While he also came down with timely rebounds.

will anchor Mojave’s defense this upcoming season. He can protect the rim thanks to his height and athleticism. He can also jump into passing lanes and collect steals. In addition to his defensive abilities, Thomas cleans the glass and gather boards on both ends of the court. I’m looking forward to watching him play this weekend, and hopefully he helps Mojave grab some wins.

is a quality rim-runner who has some good touch around the basket. He may be even taller than 6’4 now, or at least he plays like it. If he can step up when Mojave needs him to, I expect that he’ll be more well-known and higher in the rankings soon.

Key Area Of Improvement: Perimeter Skills
Thomas has always been a player with tremendous potential. His ceiling is directly tied to his ability to stretch his game away from the basket. Over the summer we saw that he was able to not only handle, but make plays for teammates as well.

So excited to see Thomas. Got a glimpse of him during the Spring Venom Rankings Run, where he spent a ton of time on the perimeter. Looking to see him bring that perimeter game to Phoenix, if he does, expect him to open more than a few eyes.

Thomas was a player that I mentioned as a Friday Night Standout. His ability to stretch his game out on the floor has turned him into a much more versatile offensive player. He’s probably now closer to 6’4 and his vision and off the bounce passing ability provides him with stockrising potential.

I’m all for Thomas’ perimeter transformation. The former low post threat has begun to stretch his game out and it’s showing. He made some nice drives and showed that he can be effective both finishing around the rim as well as finding and diming up teammates.

I liked what I saw from Thomas. He’s slowly stretching out his game on the floor, however I thought it was his willingness to return to his interior roots, that led to his production. He scrapped, getting some in traffic boards, and displayed a nice touch, finishing around the rim.
